Lerwick Baptist Church
Welcome to Lerwick Baptist Church. We are a vibrant church family of all ages, drawn from across Lerwick and beyond. We aim to be a relaxed and friendly community where people can explore and grow in their relationship with God and find opportunities for worship and service.
We hold regular services in our church building and we would love to have you join us! These are great opportunities to meet with God in the company of other Christians – or even if you just want to find out more about Jesus and about what it means to know and follow Him.
Our desire is for everyone in Shetland to discover what a difference Jesus can make to their lives. Whether you come to one of our Sunday events, or connect with us throughout the week, we hope you will see the joy and hope we have found and that you will feel welcomed and invited to join in.

Upcoming Events
Our Sunday morning service starts at 10.45am, with everyone attending the main gathering for around 15-20 minutes. Children/youth/crèche will then head off to their own activities. PLEASE NOTE the morning service this week will not be live streamed but the Candlelight Service will be streamed at 6pm
The 10.45am start is to allow the musicians to come together to practice from 9.30am and prepare for our worship time.
We warmly invite you to stay for tea and coffee and further fellowship after the service.
