Precept Weekend

Precept Shetland Weekend Program & Timetable

Precept Shetland Introductory Video

SESSION 1:

Friday 27th August 7pm, Lerwick Baptist Church
Cost: FREE
An introduction and informal session of the Precepts Bible Study method.  Recommended if you would like to learn to study the Bible in a clear and easy way that will draw you into better personal study and a deeper understanding of God’s word.
This evening is also designed for church or Home group leaders to take a look into the material for their own study groups.
Also ideal if you have always wondered about the Bible and how to study it and would be interested to find out more. Open to all, you do not have to be a member of a church or home group to attend this evening.

SESSION 2:

Saturday 28th August 10am – 3.30pm, Lerwick Baptist Church
Cost: £20
Leaders’ Training Day
This day course is for those who have already some experience of using the Precept Study books and have already been part of a group, and would like to be able to lead a study series themselves.
It would also be helpful for church leaders to see the material Precept Ministries offers to different age groups and differing degrees of participation, giving insight to what would be most effective within their churches and study /Bible groups.

Sunday 29th: 10.45am  Nigel speaking at Lerwick Baptist Church.
Sunday 29th: 6.30pm  Precepts United! Evening fellowship and encouragement.  There will also be filming on that evening.

Booking
Please contact Ruth Dale at ruthedale@icloud.com or 07478888191 with any questions, or if you would like to book a place on one or both of the days.
