Mainly Music at Lerwick Baptist is every Wednesday 10-11.30am during term time for all preschool aged children.
We start at 10.00am with a structured music and rhyme based session that lasts for 30 minutes. This is followed by snack and free play, there is tea, coffee and something nice to eat for the adults.
Each session is £3 per family and your first session is free, pay for the whole term and get one free.
Welcome to Mainly Music, one of many groups throughout the UK, USA, New Zealand, Australia and in other parts of the world. Our Mainly Music team is made up of people who come to this church. There will be some faith based songs.
The songs will help your child to develop various practical and social skills. This time is also about you bonding with them as you join in.
If your child walks around, that is okay. Please make sure they are safe as they explore the room during the song, snack and free play time.
Our weekly charge is to cover the operating costs, for equipment, props, and snacks.
The sessions we provide are for all preschool aged children. If your child is home due to school closures or homeschooling feel free to bring them along. If they are unwell, please stay at home.
Photos or videos cannot be used on any social media unless they are of your own child or you have permission from the child’s parent or carer.

Payment Details:
The cost of each session is £3 with your first visit being free. If you will be coming every week you can pay for the whole term and get one free.
Term 1: 10th Jan – 27th Mar, 12 Sessions = £33
Term 2: 17th Apr – 26th Jun, 11 Sessions = £30
Term 3: 14th Aug – 9th Oct, 9 Sessions = £24
Term 4: 30th Oct – 18th Dec, 7 Sessions = £18
If finances are an issue please speak to one of the leaders and the church will be able to assist.
